In this week's video interview for Professional Adviser's Investment Influencers series, where we chat to the most respected individuals who select funds, decide ratings or otherwise influence the allocation of investor fund flows, we hear from Anthony Gillham of Old Mutual Global Investors (OMGI).
Gillham, who is a CFA charterholder and has more than 15 years of investment experience, is a co-investment director of OMGI's multi-asset unit. Having joined Old Mutual in 2000, he became a fixed income research analyst in 2006 and a global bond portfolio manager in 2007. Prior to focusing on fixed income, Gillham's areas of coverage included multi-asset, Nordic equities and quantitative US equity and fixed income research.
The Investment Influencers series, which has most recently featured Ben Wattam and Ian Goodchild of Mattioli Woods, Enrique Pardo of Allfunds Bank and Jon Beckett of Scottish Widows, offers insights into how key players in the asset management sector see the world of investing and expect to deal with such challenges as greater market volatility, increased regulation and a growing trend towards short-termism.
