The fund selection and fund research markets are a major part of the multi-trillion pound investment industry but who are the key players within it?
In the latest in our series of video interviews with the most respected individuals who select funds, decide ratings or otherwise influence the allocation of investor fund flows, we meet Amanda Sillars, a manager of multi-manager funds at Jupiter Asset Management.
Sillars, who is also a director of the firm, joined the Jupiter Independent Funds Team in 2011 after 15 years at JP Morgan. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, has passed the US SEC Series 7 and Series 3 exams and gained an Award in Pensions (DB & DC) Management Trustee Exam.
The Investment Influencers series, which has most recently featured David Jane of Miton, Justin Onuekwusi of Legal & General Investment Management and Tom Caddick of Santander Asset Management, offers insights into how key industry players see the world of investing and expect to deal with such challenges as greater market volatility, increased regulation and a growing trend towards short-termism.
