Less than three years since the introduction of rules purporting to improve consumer access to regulated financial advice, the government has announced another project which effectively seeks to address the same problem. The Financial Advice Market Review will investigate an apparent advice gap among those who "do not have significant wealth", and seek to remove any barriers which may be preventing firms from filling it.
