Multi-asset investing in its various guises has very much become the norm within the world of investment management during the last decade or so. It started out by combining equity exposure with fixed income but has broadened out down the years to incorporate commercial property, listed infrastructure and commodities. More recently, it might now include exposure to leasing vehicles or insurance-linked strategies, for example.
