Certified financial planners 'generate higher profits' - poll

Those with the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification generate higher revenues and profits for firms than those without it, according to a poll.

Some 62% of 92 firms surveyed across the world indicated that Certified planners contributed higher profits, while 61% said overall business profit increased thanks to their employment of CFP professionals. Meanwhile, 69% of firms indicated CFP professionals present lower compliance and legal risks. The research was conducted by Australian firm Comparator in 12 countries including Brazil, Canada, Ireland and the United States.
