Pension liberation court battle resumes in High Court

The High Court case revolving around the classification of pension liberation vehicles has resumed after its summer adjournment.

The Pensions Regulator (TPR) is arguing that nine alleged pension liberation vehicles should be treated as personal pension schemes. The hearing of a test case into the legal status of nine schemes resumed on 2 October after being adjourned in July. Dalriada Trustees and Pi Consulting were appointed to manage the suspected liberation vehicles in May, following police raids on City of London premises.
