Ascentric hits £5bn asset milestone

Wrap platform Ascentric has passed £5bn of assets under administration, an increase of 36% since the start of 2012.

The figures include the Ascentric business, as well as white-labelling arm IFDL, that provides platforms for Succession, Towergate, Openwork and Intrinsic. Managing director Hugo Thorman (pictured) said: "This is a great announcement for the business. 2013 will see the start of a new era for financial services with the implementation of RDR and advisers requiring greater support.
