Thousands of advisers will start receiving letters and emails from The Pensions Regulator (TPR) this month as part of its drive to promote auto-enrolment.
The pensions watchdog said it would contact more than 100,000 independent financial advisers, accountants and HR professionals to explain the role they are expected to play in workplace pension reform. TPR said advisers would be "crucial to the success of workplace pensions reform". It added IFAs could help raise awareness that the law is changing and reiterated every employer will be affected.
