IFA launches joint venture with local accountant

Stockton on Tees based IFA WR Financial has launched a joint venture with nearby accountacy business ChipChase Manners Chartered Accountants.

Called ChipChase Manners Financial Services, the venture will see both parties share clients and receive an undisclosed fee for any introduction. Graham Laverick managing director said: "We expect to be able to work on business transactions and other potentially bigger deals as a result of this formalised relationship with ChipChase. "For example, we've just provided advice to two directors who sold their company for £75m and used ChipChase as accountants. We are unlikely to have picked that up without this joint venture.
