Reita plans commercial property exam to raise IFA knowledge

Reita has outlined an exam syllabus to help guide IFA examining bodies about the technical level of content required to raise the standard of adviser property investment knowledge.

The education and awareness campaign for property investment and REITs, says it has talked to the CII and IFS about building a level 4 QCF module accredited by the FSSC, but warns it could take some time. Reita research found only half of IFAs believe they "do not have enough knowledge" to advise clients on property investment under the RDR's proposal for whole of market independent advice.
