Many IFA firms are set to benefit as the Chancellor pledges financial help for small and medium sized businesses in today's Budget.
In measures designed to help smaller buisnesses as this difficult time, he says the Small Firms Loan Guarantee scheme will be increased by £60m for the coming year. This scheme will then be extended from next month to small and medium sized firms. He is also increasing the amount of investment on which tax relief is available under the Enterprise Investment Scheme from £400,000 to £500,000. The employee share limit for tax relief under the Enterprise Management Incentive Scheme will also increase from £100,000 to £120,000.
