Stonehaven launches into equity release

New equity release provider Stonehaven launches into the UK market today with a range of five different products.

The provider, which launched a pilot through six specialist equity release intermediary firms last week, has initially designed a range of products at homeowners aged over 55. It will be led by Jayne Almond, former managing director of Barclays/Woolwich mortgage business with a team including Georgina Smith, former brand director at Orange as sales and marketing director, John Pemberton, formerly of Prudential as chief finance officer; and Bob Avery formerly of Lloyds TSB.
